Michael Walsh Productions Ltd. is a development and production company focused on selected feature-film and television-drama projects, drawing on Michael Walsh’s extensive experience across theatre, film and television.

Michael began his career as a stage actor in the mid-1970s. He later co-founded the UK touring theatre company Green Fields and Far Away with director Roland Jaquarello, gaining valuable experience in performance, touring and theatrical production.

During the 1980s, Michael moved into film and television, working as an assistant director on acclaimed productions including The Commitments, The Snapper and In the Name of the Father. He subsequently worked as a location manager on films such as The General, The Abduction Club and The Informant.

Over the past twenty-one years, Michael has worked extensively as a line producer, helping to deliver feature films and television productions from development through to completion. His credits include the feature film The Secret Scripture and the television series Moone Boy.

This broad background—spanning acting, theatre production, assistant direction, locations and line production—gives Michael a practical understanding of every stage of the production process. In recent years, he has also focused on project development, collaborating with production companies to identify, shape and advance new film and television projects.
